Julia Loughran
Co-Founder
President
 

Julia has extensive experience in helping government and commercial organizations use technology to increase productivity for virtual teams. Julia co-founded the company with Marcy Stahl in 1997. She is now the owner and President of ThoughtLink. Julia is responsible for the strategic leadership and continued rapid growth of the company. She focuses on leveraging the company's successful track record to direct ThoughtLink's further expansion into the government, international and commercial markets. Read More or read full resume.

Julia is a member of the Information Age Metrics Working Group (IAMWG) , the National Defense Industrial Association and Golden Fleece . She holds an M.S. degree in Artificial Intelligence/Information Systems Technology from George Washington University and a B.S. degree in Communications from the University of Utah .

The ThoughtLink team describes Julia as enthusiastic, creative, heroic, extroverted, a marketing mastermind and multi-tasker.

Julia is also known for her frequent (and unconscious) use of malapropisms (using the incorrect word or phrase). Luckily the team keeps a file of  some of her more amusing malapropisms.

 
 

Rebecca Agrait
 

Rebecca has extensive experience working in the prediction and measurement of systems necessary for making accurate personnel decisions with respect to the selection, placement, training and evaluation of programs and employees. At ThoughtLink, Rebecca oversees training needs analysis, requirements management, and technology and organization fit evaluations. Read More.

Rebecca is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). She holds an M.S. degree from the Florida Institute of Technology in Industrial Organizational Psychology.

Andrew English
 

Andrew brings a solid understanding of teams, training, technology, psychometrics and individual differences to ThoughtLink. His areas of expertise include job analysis, conducting focus groups, measurement of psychological constructs, and the validation of personnel selection systems. In his current role, he conducts team training and develops content ranging from project management to effective communication skills modules. This includes the development of online training systems including conducting needs assessment, development of training content, and outcome measurement. Read More.

He is a member of the Society of Industrial Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the American Psychological Association (APA). Andrew holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from The Florida Institute of Technology.

Andrew has a love for music, reading, art and the beach. He also plays the guitar and attempts to brave the waves.

Andrew's team members describe him as sympathetic, a monkey-lover who dreams of becoming a primatologist, and the main character in his own novel.

 
 

Carol Powell
 

Carol is the newest member of the ThoughtLink team. As the company's administrative assistant extraordinaire, she helps make sure that day-to-day operations run smoothly. In this capacity, she serves as ThoughtLink's information manager by helping to store, retrieve, and integrate information for dissemination to staff and clients. Read More.

The team describes Carol as maternal, optimistic and possessing a "go getter" attitude and an infectious laugh.
