Ed McGrady
 

Ed is an operations analyst with fifteen years experience designing games and simulations for what purpose for various government and commercial organizations. Ed's areas of expertise include the design of large-scale seminar games, maritime chemical and biological warfare , air defense what? , operational level military command and control, and humanitarian and disaster response. At ThoughtLink, he spearheads projects involving emerging organizational and decision-making concepts with applications to military policymaking, corporate relationships, and crisis response decisions. E.D. was employed at ThoughtLink from June 2004-June 2005 and he now supports ThoughtLink as a consultant as well as continuing his work for the Center for Naval Analyses. He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, American Association for the Advancement of Science, Sigma Xi, Society of Vertebrate Paleontology and the Paleontological Society. Ed has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida.

He enjoys woodworking, camping, writing and reading in his leisure time.

Marc Neifert
 

Marc has more than thirty years experience as an officer in the United States Air Force.  At ThoughtLink, he consults on Department of Defense (DoD) contracts and projects specifically related to the DoD Training Transformation Implementation Plan. His strengths include a calm and practical approach to leadership and management, a determined work ethic and the ability to analyze difficult and complex issues and offer workable solutions. Marc is a member of the Air Force Association and the Military Officers Association of America. He received a B.S. degree from the United States Air Force Academy in Engineering Management. He also holds a M.A. degree in Public Administration from Troy State University .

During his free time, Marc enjoys traveling, golfing, fishing, hunting, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

Christine Williams
 

 

Christine has extensive experience as a research analyst for both government and non-government organizations. She specializes in national security, urban infrastructure, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and interactive online systems, specifically working to develop and evaluate web-based tools that enhance research capabilities, improve targeted requirements analysis and broaden delivery. Her research experience has ranged from urban studies of the Medina of Fez, Morocco, to urban warfare, to the use of nighttime satellite imagery to predict global urban population growth. Read More.

Christine holds an M.S. degree in Urban Planning from Columbia University.

During her free time, Christine works as a watercolor, oil and charcoal artist. She enjoys traveling, skiing, and sailing in Maine.

Lisa Anderson
 

Lisa is ThoughtLink's internal accountant.  She has worked for over seventeen years in government cost accounting and system administration providing financial outsourcing solutions using the latest accounting software.  She has worked as Controller and Chief Financial Officer for area government contractors. Lisa owns a company, DeAnder Associates, L.L.C., and provides financial services that include basic accounting support, system and financial analysis, and compliance reviews.  Lisa's experiences include acting as the virtual CFO for organizations, developing indirect rate structures, financial analysis, cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting, performance reviews, preparation of incurred cost submissions and performing other financial services.  Lisa is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Maryland.  She obtained her Bachelors of Administration degree from the University of the District of Columbia.

 

Jody Ruth
 

Jody is ThoughtLink's “Rent-A-CFO”. As President, CEO and Founder of RedStones LLC, Jody and the RedStones' team partner with their clients to realize opportunities. Clients range from a Fortune 100 company to high growth privately held companies. Previously she held various executive positions at AOL, GTE Wireless, GTE Corp. and TWA. In those roles she led efforts ranging from the development of an integrated voice and data handheld device to the realization of $900M + to the bottom line of a $3.5B company over a 3 year period including revenue enhancements and productivity and process improvements. She began her career at KPMG where she was an air transportation and employee benefit plan specialist. Jody's holds a BS Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University.
