Previously Marc served in the U.S. Air Force. He flew KC-135's for more than 16 years and then subsequently worked on international Air Force programs in Europe and for the Pentagon. His last assignment was Defense and Air Attaché to the Czech Republic . In this position he coordinated and implemented U.S. defense policy in the Czech Republic . He also acted as the military advisor to the ambassador and represented the U.S. at various defense-related meetings and functions.
